Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club (SMMC) is the only Club in Scotland that’s dedicated to all four-wheel motorsport disciplines. There are very few motorsport events held north of the border where SMMC is not playing a significant role with either our trained personnel or specialist equipment being involved.

We’re not just close to the action... we’re PART of it!

Radio Operators needed for the McRae Rally Challenge, Knockhill, 2-3 July 2022

The McRae Rally Challenge will feature two one-day single venue rallies, a Junior rally event, and will also see the newly named "McRae's Corner" in use for the very first time. An eagerly awaited feature will be the “Battle of the McRae’s” as three generations of the McRae family compete head-to-head to determine who is the fastest!

The Sir Jackie Stewart Classic, presented by Rolex, is a Festival of Motoring taking place at Thirlestane Castle on 18th & 19th June 2022. Marshals are required to run posts for a sprint of a heritage cars from days gone by.

Can you help? Marshals are needed for the hillclimbs at Forrestburn on 11 and 12 June.

Forrestburn is a 1,030-metre hill climb track in central Scotland. Get involved with the action in this test of speed (and nerves) up a tarmac track consisting of hairpins, blind summits and negative camber corners.

Marshals Required: Beatson’s Building Supplies Jim Clark Rally, 27-29 May 2022

With six weeks to go, plans for the 2022 Beatson’s Building Supplies Jim Clark Rally are being finalised and it is shaping up to be a real cracker. There are still a large number of marshalling opportunities across the event – the stages on the roads around Duns, the start / finish in the Market Square, and the Service Area on the edge of the town all need to be covered.

Marshals required at Doune Hillclimb on 16/17 April

Alastair Gray, Chief Marshal of Doune Hillclimb, is looking for support over the weekend of 16th and 17th April. You can volunteer for one or both days. The Doune Speed Hillclimb Course is recognised as one of the sports' premier venues in Britian. The “King of the Hills” course takes competitors up over a 1350-metre track at one of the most challenging and scenic climbs in the UK.
