Change how you get emails from the main News Forum
The News Forum is the main way that we communicate with Club members, and generally, there will be around 3-4 emails a month from this particular forum.
By default, you are subscribed to receive these forum posts by email but you can unsubscribe from the whole forum (opt out) at any time (and of course you can resubscribe if you change your mind). Click on the link at the bottom of an email, or if you're logged in, click here to change your subscription settings for the News Forum.
- Please be aware that if you unsubscribe from this News Forum, you will miss out on all important communications from the Club as it has replaced the Smmc MemberInfo email.
Change how you get emails from the Clubhouse forums
There are two forums in the Clubhouse: the Community Discussion Forum and the Social Forum. These are for Club members only.
By default, you are subscribed to receive forum posts by email but you can unsubscribe from either forum at any time (and of course you can resubscribe if you change your mind). Click on the link at the bottom of an email, or if you're logged in, click here to change your subscription settings for the forums.
The Motorsport Radio Group and the Rescue Crews have their own forums. You will need to change your subscription settings for those forums in each area.
Getting too many emails?
As an alternative to unsubscribing from a whole forum, you can unsubscribe from a particular discussion in any forum - click on the link at the bottom of an email, or if you're logged in, click on the envelope next to the relevant discussion in a forum. You can change your mind at any time.
You can also get a daily digest of forum posts instead of receiving an individual email for each post. The digest can either contain just the subject of the post or the full content. You can have different digest settings for different forums, and again, you can change your mind at any time. The digest is sent out once a day at 5pm.
