Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club (SMMC) is the only Club in Scotland that’s dedicated to all four-wheel motorsport disciplines. There are very few motorsport events held north of the border where SMMC is not playing a significant role with either our trained personnel or specialist equipment being involved.

We’re not just close to the action... we’re PART of it!

Kames Classic Car Show

We'll have "Rescue 14" on display at the Kames Classic Car Show on Sunday. Little kids, big kids, and adults who still wish they were kids can see inside one of our specialist vehicles and we'll also be demonstrating the medical and extrication equipment.

Other marshaling opportunities in June

You will have seen the notification on Wednesday of the Super Lap Scotland event at Knockhill on 15 / 16 June.  Two other events that weekend are also looking for marshals:

  • Doune Hill Climb; including rounds of the British Championship; and
  • The UK Rally Scene Summer Stages Rally at Crail.

Marshals required – RSAC Scottish Rally, Saturday 18 May

The 2019 RSAC Scottish Rally, which is running on Saturday 18 May, still needs a substantial number of marshals of all disciplines, as well as six radio crews to enable the event to run safely.

The Jim Clark Memorial Rally - 8/9 November 2019

The annual Jim Clark Memorial Rally is back under Starter's Orders. Following the final completion of new legislation by the Scottish Government this week, the way is now open to bring the rally back to Berwickshire.

Closed road motor sport legislation covering Scotland becomes law today
