Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club (SMMC) is the only Club in Scotland that’s dedicated to all four-wheel motorsport disciplines. There are very few motorsport events held north of the border where SMMC is not playing a significant role with either our trained personnel or specialist equipment being involved.

We’re not just close to the action... we’re PART of it!

Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship Survey

Following on from the online discussion around the future of stage rallying in Scotland and the recent meeting held in Stirling, the organisers of the STRC have set up a brief survey to gather a range of views specific to that championship.

Bo’ness Revival – request for marshals

Hill climbing returns to Bo’ness this weekend for the 12th year under the organisation of the Bo'ness Hill Climb Revival Club. Marshals are still required for both days with Sunday being particularly short at present.

Rally Marshals training with a focus on Closed Road events - 7 September

The last quarter of 2019 sees rallying in Scotland take a major step forward with the reintroduction of closed roads rallying – the Beatson's Building Supplies Mull Rally (11-13 October) and the Jim Clark Rally (8-9 November).

The training day on Saturday 7th September has been added to the calendar to provide rally marshals with more of the knowledge required for this unique type of event.

SMRC Track Night, 14 August

Scottish Motor Racing Club are excited to announce that they will be running their first track night, on Wednesday 14 August at Knockhill. The evening will also act as an open evening for those looking to start racing, with opportunities to receive coaching, get a passenger lap and pick up an information pack.

Super Lap Scotland rounds 5 and 6, with the MG Trophy, BMWs and Scottish Legends - Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August 2019

This coming weekend sees rounds 5 and 6 of Super Lap Scotland, the Rockstar Chase Series and the Scottish BMW Compact Cup kick up a gear as the season really heats up at Knockhill. For marshals, it also counts as attendance signatures to put towards qualification for the 2020 British Grand Prix.
