We were very pleased to support Stewart Paton present a cheque to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance from the proceeds of a raffle at the Marshals Social Night in February.

This afternoon, Stewart Paton, Jon Bolton and Andrew Main took one of the SMMC Rescue Units to Perth Airfield to meet the team at Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and present them with a cheque for £400 raised at the recent Marshal's Social and Training Day.

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance responds, on average, to one time-critical emergency call out every single day. They are a national charity and receive no government funding, so rely 100% on donations from the public to fuel their life-saving flights.

Ewan Littlejohn is the clinical team lead for one of the SCAA helicopter teams and is also a licensed Motorsport UK paramedic so he was delighted to receive the money on behalf of the charity.

Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets and made the day such a success. Thanks to Stuart Gray at Knockhill Racing Circuit, East Ayrshire Car Club, Aaron Ferguson, Junior Rally Scotland, Scottish Sporting Car Club, Dawn Henderson at ITTD, Gordon Morrison Montana, Trix Grant, Alan Kirkaldy at Cairnsmill Caravan Park, Tom Blackwood at The Cobble Shop, SMMC, RSAC Scottish Rally, Jonathan Lord & Craig Munro Fisher, Ecosse Challenge for their donations to the raffle, without which the day would not have been such a huge success.
