SMMC is now a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We are very proud to announce our registration this week with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, marking an important new chapter for the Club and perhaps the most important news for us in many years.

The organisers of the Armstrong Galloway Hills Rally have determined that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event scheduled for September will not go ahead, but will be *provisionally* rescheduled for Saturday 31st October 2020.

If you're looking for an easy re-introduction to marshalling, Knockhill Motor Sports Club are still looking for support for what will now be a half day recommencement of their SLS series at the circuit on Sunday 2nd August.

The first KMSC SLS meeting of 2020 is being held at Knockhill on Sunday 2nd August. As usual there will be a requirement for suitably trained marshals.

The organising team of the Beatson’s Mull Rally have sadly come to a decision to cancel this year's event due to the ongoing uncertainty around COVID-19.

In 1957 Hugh Langrishe travelled to France with the Ecurie Ecosse motor racing team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Hugh was given the job of keeping times and lap charts for all of the Ecosse Jaguars. In this film Hugh shares with us some of his unique experiences from Le Mans and his close friendship with Ecurie Ecosse driver, Ron Flockhart.
