Rob Collard is one of the most popular, well respected hard charging racers in the British racing scene and many will have seen him many times over the years competing in the British Touring Car Championships, with nearly 500 starts and 15 wins in his career. Join Stuart Gray and the Driving Scotland group in a zoom chat with Rob this Sunday at 7pm.

Rob CollardStuart Gray from Knockhill Circuit has asked us to spread the word about an event on Sunday at 7pm.

Rob Collard is one of the most popular, well respected hard charging racers in the British racing scene and many will have seen him many times over the years competing in the British Touring Car Championships, with nearly 500 starts and 15 wins in his career. Stuart writes,

"We have managed to get another very successful racing driver to come and chat to our Driving Scotland group at short notice for this Sunday at 7pm.

Rob Collard is one of the most popular, well respected hard charging racers in the British racing scene.

Known for his multi race winning career in the British Touring Cars over many seasons racing in MG’s, SEAT's and most recently for 11 seasons in the WSR BMW, often partnering Colin Turkington.

After a switch in series, Rob is the reigning 2020 British GT3 champion having partnered up with the young Scot Sandy Mitchell at Barwell Motorsport in a Black Bull sponsored Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

Racing is in the blood with the Collard family as his father was short oval hot rod world champion and his sons Ricky and Jordan are following in their father and grandfather's motorsport tracks with successful careers of their own.

Rob has kindly agreed to come and talk with us on Sunday evening at 7pm.

Hopefully joining Rob, will be his son, Jordan, who also is developing his career in motor sport as a McLaren development driver and rising star in the British Racing Drivers Club.

We will be sending out the Zoom link on Saturday morning - if you wish to be part of the audience, please reply to me ASAP and I will add you to the list of participants for the evening.
