SAMSC are organising the 2020 Marshals' Social on Saturday 8th February at The Adamson Hotel, Crossford, Dunfermline - which this year is expanding to include a training day as well.

I am pleased to advise that we been recognised by Motorsport UK within their Club of the Year competition. Although we are obviously disappointed not to win, we send our congratulations to friends and colleagues at Clitheroe & District Motor Club for their success this year.

We are proud that SMMC members are able to play a part assisting the Motor Sports Council and the Motorsport UK Board with strategic planning of the development and future of motorsport.

It is with great sadness that we advise that long standing Club Member, Scrutineer and Radio Operator, Drew Anderson passed away yesterday afternoon.

A Memorial Service for the late Andrew Cowan will be held in Duns Parish Church on Saturday 1st February 2020, commencing at 1pm.

35 miles of action over 8 off-road and on-circuit stages! Marshals of all disciplines are required and DCC will even feed you nice hot food, with as much coffee or tea as you can drink.

Now that the Jim Clark is over, the Roger Albert Clark is rapidly approaching. 300 Stage Miles over 32 Stages, with lots of proper rally cars. Here are details of stages that we know of, where help is still required.

Dunfermline Car Club is looking for radio marshals for the Knockhill Stages of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship.

Marshals and radio marshals are required for the Craik stages of the Roger Albert Clark Rally on Sunday 24th November 2019.

Our Club President, Andrew Cowan, passed away earlier this week. I'm sure all Club Members will join me in remembering this fine man.

Marshals are required for the final round of the 2019 Autosport International BTRDA Clubmans Rallycross Championship at Knockhill on Sunday 20th October.

It is now less than seven weeks until the roads of Berwickshire will once again echo to the sound of rally cars at speed.
