Marshals are still required for the Borders Competitions Jim Clark Rally from 23-25 May.

The Jim Clark Rally has now been running for over 50 years and throughout its history has relied on an army of volunteers to attend make it the huge success it is. You may not be aware that in the run up to the event the event organisers work closely with Scottish Borders Council and the Police, amongst other agencies, to ensure the rally meets the high safety standards it requires.

In doing so, we need to provide them with factual figures for volunteer marshals at the earliest opportunity and so it is vital that anyone intending to volunteer, register online so we have names. In this day and age with Stage Rally Safety Requirements, insurance and Health and Safety obligations unfortunately it is not sufficient to say 'I'll be there' without following up with a registration form.

Even if you are not a 'rally marshal' you will be made welcome and buddied up with someone who is Accredited.

All signed on volunteers will receive a Supermarket voucher, goody bag and 25% discount voucher for food from Blackadder Mini Market and Deli on the rally route in Greenlaw.
