Mull Car Club are still seeking marshals and radio crews for the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally on 20/21 June 2025.
Showcasing a thrilling mix of technical tarmac stages, breathtaking coastal views, and challenging conditions that test both driver skill and co-driver precision, this event is one of Scotland’s most exciting motorsport events, bringing top-level rallying action to the scenic roads of Argyll and Bute.
Attracting top crews from across the UK, the rally has become a key fixture in many national rally series including the British Historic Rally Championship, National Asphalt Rally Championship and Scottish Rally Championship, alongside other national series.
The rally kicks off with an electrifying three-quarter-mile sprint through the streets of Dunoon town centre. Run twice in quick succession, this crowd-favorite spectacle sets the tone for the weekend.
From there, the competition shifts to the countryside, tackling five demanding stages before culminating in the Oyster Catcher test — a full eight-mile blast under the cover of darkness. This dramatic finale on Friday night will push crews to their limits before they return to Dunoon around 22:00, having completed nearly 26 competitive miles.
On Saturday, the intensity ramps up with nine special stages, bringing the total competitive mileage to 72 miles. The Bealach Maim stage gets a “fast and furious” extension, adding a thrilling three-mile stretch known as Kilfinan, while the introduction of Millhouses, a brand-new four-mile stage at the southern end of the Cowal Peninsula, adds a fresh challenge with its narrow and technical roads.
Marshals for all roles would be welcome, and your support is greatly appreciated!
