Doune Hillclimb
The Doune Speed Hillclimb Course is recognised as one of the sports premier venues in Britain and hosts two rounds of the British Speed Hillclimb Championship and four rounds of the Scottish Hill Climb Championship annually.
The “King of the Hills” course takes competitors up over a 1350-metre track at one of the most challenging and scenic climbs in the UK.
The Doune Hillclimb is organised by the Lothian Car Club, and our involvement with Doune dates from when the Club was formed in 1973. We have been the main source of marshals and specialised Rescue Units and crews for every Doune event since then.
Our marshals are unpaid volunteers and stand outside in all weathers to ensure track safety. Without them there would be no race meetings at Doune... or indeed anywhere else.
If you are interested in becoming a Marshal then please get in touch.
