While fans count down to lights out on Sunday, the work for the rescue and medical teams begins much earlier!

Their week starts on Thursday with FIA extrication exercises, ensuring drivers can be safely removed from their cars in the event of an incident. Then it's an early start on Friday morning, with sign-on beginning at 04:55 as teams prepare for the first day of track action.

It's four very long but incredible days, and it's a huge privilege and an honour to play our part at one of the most iconic and prestigious races on the Formula One calendar, and the pinnacle of British motorsport.

Edinburgh - Tuesday 30th June

But before the lights go out at Silverstone, Formula One fans in Scotland have a fantastic opportunity to get closer to the sport than ever!

An Atlassian Williams Racing Formula One car will be on display on Castle Street in Edinburgh on Tuesday 30 June as part of the team's Silverstone Race Week tour across Great Britain.

You'll be able to get up close to the car, which will be displayed on an open-air plinth in the heart of the city. And if you share photos with the car, you'll also have the chance to win signed Williams Racing merchandise.

The display celebrates Williams' British heritage, with the car featuring a special red, white and blue livery inspired by the Union Jack. This design will also feature on the FW48 cars driven by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz at Silverstone.

Whether you're heading to Silverstone or visiting Castle Street, it's set to be a fantastic week of Formula One action.
