Forrestburn Hillclimb is this weekend - Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August. Marshals are needed both days.
Forrestburn Speed Hill Climb is a 1,030-metre track in central Scotland. Get involved with the action in this test of speed (and nerves) up what is probably the most technical track in Scotland, consisting of hairpins, blind summits and negative camber corners. The track is located just to the north of Forrestburn Reservoir off Forrest Road near Harthill in Central Scotland. The postcode is ML7 4NW. It is 28 miles from Edinburgh and 21 miles from Glasgow (OS Sheet 65, Grid Reference: 86106490).
With famously unpredictable weather, you are advised to bring everything, waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent.
Marshals will receive a contribution of £20 towards fuel as well as a lunch voucher for the burger van.
Signing on is before 08:30 at the portacabin, for a 09:00 start.
