It has recently been announced that Extreme E is returning to Scotland (Glenmuckloch, Dumfries and Galloway) on the 11th – 14th July 2024. The Clerk of the Course is Rupert Hine.

Extreme E is a radical off-road racing series. 8 teams, consisting of one male and one female driver, racing to highlight global issues and inspire the next generation. We are looking for Marshals to help at the event.

Signing on and documentation will be on the Thursday, free practice is on Friday, and qualifying/races are on the Saturday and Sunday.

If you are not familiar with the event, Marshals at Extreme E act more like observers reporting back to Event Control – they don’t assist with incidents due to the nature of the cars. Full training will be provided by the Extreme E Team, with time to look around the open paddock.

Expenses include 45p a mile capped at 100 miles per day, and up to £75 per day for accommodation. Please note that there is not space for overnight camping or motorhomes on-site and marshals will need to make their own arrangements. Breakfast, lunch and dinners will be provided by Extreme E on site.

Marshal roles will be available to those who apply first and it's preferable that you can attend all 4 days. We are also looking to fill a number of marshal spots that can only attend on Thursday and/or Friday as the requirement for marshals is higher on these days.
