The Scottish speed scene reaches a climax this weekend (Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd October) at Kames Motorsport Complex as competitors from several championships compete to secure 2021 awards.

The event could do with a few additional marshals to make sure everything runs as planned. Don't worry if you have no experience as you'll be buddied up with an experienced member. You don’t have to commit to both days – if you can’t manage that, being there on either Saturday or Sunday would be great. Younger marshals can also get involved in off track roles.

There will be opportunities to:

• work in the paddock helping to get competitors to the start line in the right order at the right time
• get cars lined up properly on the start line to ensure they break the starting beam at the right time
• observing activities on the track and being ready to intervene if required to ensure safety
• flagging down the competitors at the finish line to ensure they know they’ve finished competing
