Many thanks to those who have already responded to our previous request for assistance. We're still looking for Safety Marshals in all disciplines.

Urgent message from Diana Baines...

Many thanks to those who have already responded to our previous request for assistance and who have already completed the on-line registration form.

We're still looking for Safety Marshals in all disciplines.

Whether you are a Radio, Timing, Accredited or any other Motorsport Marshal, and whatever your level of experience, please get in touch by completing the registration form:

Even if you can't help, please let us know. It really helps with our planning.

The impact of COVID means that there will be many changes to the way the event is run. Further details will be available in due course, but current guidance is available on Motorsport UK's website.

Rally HQ will again be in Lockerbie Lorry Park (LLP) with stages in Twiglees, Ae and Gill Knowe (an iteration of the popular and challenging Greskine stage). COVID precautions dictate that access to LLP and to the stages will have to be very restricted. Sadly, this year's Scottish has to be a no-spectator event.

COVID means that all documentation (Comms Plan, Marshals' Briefing Notes, Stage Set Up Notes, Safety Plan, Signing On forms to name but a few) will need to be online prior to the event. The only way to get this information is by following the links above and by registering well in advance - no hard copies of documentation will be available.

Craig and I know that some of you have already been contacted, and requested, by Stage Commanders to sign up for their stages. While this is perfectly understandable it means that there's the potential for a very uneven distribution of resources: some stages well manned, while others don't meet the minimum staffing requirements and could potentially be cancelled. I urge you to complete the appropriate online registration form, and to record any preference for a certain stage or location. Craig and I will do out utmost to honour your requests – but we can't promise.

This year's Scottish will be challenging; on the bright side it looks to be on its way to a full entry which is expected to include the popular Armed Forces Land Rovers.

Please contact our Chief Marshal, Craig Munro Fisher or our Chief Communications Officer, Diana Baines, via marshals@scottishrally.co.uk if you would like further information.

We look forward to seeing you in-stage!
