Gift Aid Declaration

Are you a UK taxpayer? If so, every £1 you give could be worth £1.25 to us, helping to fund vital work at no cost to you. All you need to do is complete the form below.

• Making a Gift Aid declaration is an easy way of allowing the Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club to reclaim the tax you have already paid.
• Your membership subscriptions and/or donations are worth a quarter more. For example, for every £1 you give us, we can reclaim 25p from HM Revenue and Customs.
• Anyone who pays UK income tax or capital gains can make a Gift Aid declaration.
• One Gift Aid declaration will cover all your future donations and membership subscriptions.
• You can cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time simply by contacting us at membership@smmc.org.uk
• To maximise your tax giving, your Gift Aid declaration will be automatically backdated 4 years, as permitted by the Gift Aid Scheme. If you have begun paying taxes more recently, or would prefer not to backdate the declaration for any other reason, please email membership@smmc.org.uk
• Gift Aid is not a method of payment so you still pay your subscription in the usual way.

Gift Aid

I am a UK taxpayer and would like SMMC to treat all donations as Gift Aid donations.I would like Scottish Motorsport Marshals Club to reclaim the tax on this and any other eligible donations or membership subscriptions that I may make in the future or have made in the past 4 years. I understand that I need to pay enough Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in each tax year to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all my donations otherwise it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
