Invitation to enter!
Welcome to Round 6 of The Nicolson Digital Tabletop Series which will take you round the roads and tracks West of Perth. The event starts and finishes in King George's Jubilee Park, Main Street Methven (the A85). The route is approx. 65 miles with eight sections and will use part of OS Landranger 1:50,000 sheet 58 but like the other rounds, the map extract, in this case a single A4 page, will be provided and will be the only approved version.
There are 4 classes and you are free to enter any of your choice:
- Expert - For those with experience of Scottish Expert level competition, the Internet Tabletop World Championship, or similar. 50% of control locations, more challenging navigation but nothing too taxing.
- Non-Expert - For those with some experience of more technical navigation problems and events. 80% of control locations, and some mild lateral thinking may be required.
- Novice - For those with some, little or no knowledge of navigational motor rallies and terminology. All control locations provided and directions of approach will be given and more straightforward navigation with additional hints.
- Fun : for those just after fun, have never done a road rally before, junior competitors and probably drivers. This class gets the references of all the controls and will have a “panic envelope” supplied on request. (NOTE if less than 4 entries we will combine this with the Novice class)
