There are already 115 cars looking to line up in the Market Square, Duns on Friday 8 November. There are still a large number of marshalling opportunities across the event.

Wow! Not even a week since entries opened and there are already 115 cars looking to line up in the Market Square, Duns on Friday 8 November for the short run out to Abbey St Bathans for the first of eleven special stages and then back to Langton which is run twice. It’s looking like a cracker!

Thanks to all of you that have already volunteered to assist with the event. Without you, there will be no rally. It’s as simple as that.

There are still a large number of marshalling opportunities across the event – the stages (two on Friday, afternoon / evening (one run twice) and four, all run twice, on Saturday), the start / finish, and the Service Area near Berwickshire High School all need to be covered.

Whether you are an in-stage spectator marshal, specialise in timing or are a Motorsport UK Licenced Radio Marshal, we need you all.

If you are available to assist, and have not already done so, can you please register as soon as possible.

Registration Forms are available from the rally website: http://jimclarkrally.org/index.html#Marshalling

Every volunteer will play a very valuable role in the safe and smooth running of the event. As well as a warm welcome, marshals will receive a gift as a thank you.

If you are not already an accredited marshal there is still time to get registered at www.motorsportuk.org/Marshals/Online-rally-marshals-training. Non-accredited marshals are still very welcome – you will be buddied with experienced registered colleagues.

No calls after 9pm please.
