A great variety of events all looking for your support.

You will have seen the notification on Wednesday of the Super Lap Scotland event at Knockhill on 15 / 16 June.  Two other events that weekend are also looking for marshals:

Doune Hill Climb

Lothian Car Club return to Doune in June for two days of motorsport when those in the Scottish Championship will be pitting their wits against competitors in rounds 13 and 14 of the British Hill Climb Championship.

Marshals of all levels of experience are required.  Don’t worry if you have not marshalled on a speed event before, the Chief Marshal, Alastair Gray, will make sure you are buddied up with someone who has been to the hill before.  A marshals briefing will also be held each morning before the racing starts.

Not only are you guaranteed a warm welcome, Lothian Car Club will give you £15 per day towards your expenses.

If you want to offer your services, or just would like more information, contact Alastair on 01324 482975 / 07802 435181 or by email: grayalastair@hotmail.co.uk

UK Rally Scene Summer Stages Rally

If you don’t fancy watching cars going up a hill, you might prefer to see them on the flat at the old airfield at Crail.  Glenrothes Motor Sport Club are organising the UK Rally Scene Summer Stages Rally on Saturday 15 June and again, marshals with all levels of experience are required.  Signing on will be completed before a marshals briefing provisionally pencilled in for 7.30.  First car will be away at 8.33

The rally is a round of the Cobble Shop Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship and Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge and a full entry is expected.

If you can help, please contact the Chief Marshal, James Moir at marshals@glenrothes-msc.com.  Radio Marshals are also required – please contact Norman Halcrow at n.halcrow@bcs.org.uk
